Patient Management System is a project that is developed on PHP and MSSQL. This project is designed to help Physicians / Doctors, hospital administration and clinics to simplify their back-end operations. Therefore, this project will enable better management of manpower in hospitals and clinics. It helps the hospital administration team to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
This project has 3 modules. First one is the patient module, second one is Doctors module and the third one is Administrator module.
The patient module dashboard displays patient’s profile, demographics, about medical insurance information, history with a physician or a hospital and his medical reports. This module will have complete and a well-organized picture of patients details including his private health insurance information. The hospital administration department can upload medical reports and share with the patient in their profile. Patients can request doctors appointment from their profile.
Doctors module dashboard has appointments calendar that shows scheduled appointments and new appointments that has been requested. Doctor or physician can approve or decline new appointments. This module also has a feature to reschedule any appointments. Doctor or physician has the access to view patient details and medical reports. Doctors can add note to the patients profile for example details of drug allergies.
Administration module has all the permissions to add patients, doctors, departments, medical reports, Insurance companies etc. Administrator can create a new doctors account, add his department and appointment slots into this application. Patient registration has to be done in two ways. First one, a patient visits a hospital with a scheduled doctors appointment and second one if a patient with a personal injury has visited the hospital without any scheduled appointment. Patients medical reports have to be attached to patients account from this module. Patients health Insurance coverage and accident claims has to be checked and authorized from this module. Administrator can send the accident claims or medical claims to the Insurance company to process.
The application sends email and sms alerts to patients, about their doctors appointments. Billing is integrated with this application. This allows the Hospital Administration to track patients’ condition.
