This is a project designed for students from the IT stream. But we can also design this for clients into the health care industry. Today the basic need for everyone’s life is hospitals and medicine. This software comes in handy for everyone. The basic operation for Hospital Management System is for the automation of hospitals and its administrative work. Hospital Management System will be helpful for keeping the track records for day-to-day life of patients and their staff. This software can store the details of patients and staff, medicines, doctors etc. This also provides the printed version of doctor’s prescription and medical bills. This software keeps the track record of in patients and out patients along with date and time. User can view the medicine details and medical status, other test reports of the associate patients. This also provides the convenience to schedule an appointment with doctors.
User can enter Hospital Management System through the unique id generated for patients and staff’s after registration process completes. Unique id will be generated only after admin approval. It also has the facility of email reports to patients. Emails notifications will be sent to patients for their routine checkup. Hospital Management System has two modules:
Admin Module: Admin have the facility to enter the details of the patients and their staff’s. They store the details of every medicine, store the details of medicine allocated to the patients, store the details of doctor associated with every patient. They can view the report detail of patients, contact the doctor, edit patient and staff details, they maintain the track record and status of every hospital room.
Patient Module: Patients can view doctor details and medicines prescribed to them. They can print the doctor’s prescription and medical bills. Patients can check their next checkup dates scheduled. They can book an appointment with their Doctors.
